Love His Word

The next characteristic that Godly Women of Influence have is that they love and meditate on the Word of God. The Word is what we live our lives by. The Bible should be our guide, it has everything we need to know to live a godly life.

In our current society the world is telling us things that are contrary to the Word of God. But women of the Word are always committed to the truth. They will not waver no matter what someone else says. They will not compromise God’s Word for anything.

Godly Women of Influence know that the Word of God is the ultimate truth and that the truth can set us free. Knowing this truth gives us the confidence to speak the truth in love.

Loving and meditating on the Word of God is loving and meditating on Christ. We get to know Him more when we spend time in His Word and He refines us and guides us in the process.

His word is a road map for life, a treasure chest of discovery and a book of promise. What a gift from God!

Father, thank you for Your word. What a gift that You have given to us. Thank you for the opportunity to know You more and for the help, comfort and joy that we receive when we take the time to read and meditate on it. Give us a passion for Your Word which really means, give us a passion for You Lord. In Jesus’ name, amen.
