Fully Prepared
They all ate and were filled. (Matthew 14:20) I was thinking about a kayaking adventure I shared with my granddaughters over the weekend. Our morning started with one of their favorite breakfasts, blueberry muffins, eggs, strawberries, ham, and hot chocolate. Breakfast with the girls is one of my favorite times with them. Sweet Reminders
God is…… Therefore….. Over the weekend, I had the privilege of going on this season’s first camping trip. I’ve always had a Bible bag that stays in the camper, so I can have my mornings with God no matter where I am. The bag is filled with pens, highlighters, memory cards, notebooks, and of course a bible. I love Bibles and have several translations and sizes. A small thinline version goes on every vacation with me because it’s lighter and fits in my carry-on bag easily. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34: 17-18) Yesterday, I wrote about saying yes to receiving a new revelation from God, and He did not hesitate in His response. The verse He gave me to study was today’s verse. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. – Matthew 5:4 The Lord has sent me to bestow on the brokenhearted a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. (Isaiah 61:3) God loves you and wants to reassure you and show you that He has plans for you beyond your disappointment, pain, and suffering. Because of the Lord’s great love, we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
