Blending
Esther was blessed with a cousin named Mordecai who was a man of God that took a stand for what he believed regardless of the consequences. His example helped Esther to do the same.
In both Esther and Mordecai’s lives, God blended character and circumstances to accomplish great things. God has not changed the way He works. He is using the situations we face each day to weave a pattern of godliness into our character and along the way we will discover His character in ways that we would not have know otherwise.
The tests, trials and circumstances that we experience in life are meant to refine us and each one serves a purpose greater than we know.
Relationship issues can bring out character flaws that we overlook in ourselves and give us the opportunity to address them and correct them.
Financial issues help to remind us that God is our provider and that He will supply all we will ever need.
Loss helps us to know God as our comforter in ways that we would never have understood otherwise.
As our character and circumstance blend we not only become more refined, but we also are better able to help others who go through the same situations. Godly purpose can be found in every situation.
God placed Esther on the throne even before the Jews faced the possibility of complete destruction so that when trouble came a person would already be in the position to help. You may be changing jobs, positions or locations and don’t immediately see God’s purpose in your situation. Just remember that God is in control. He is preparing you and may be placing you in a position so you can help when the need arises.
Be Intentional about submitting to God’s character blending

Praises & Prayers
Father, forgive us for complaining about our circumstances and the trials we face. Lord, You have reason and I pray that we will submit to Your blending and refining. Your desire is that our character becomes more like You. You willingly submitted to many tests and trials and I pray that we will do the same. In Jesus’ name, amen.
