You are!

There is something about a declaration that makes what you are declaring feel real and powerful. The definition of declaration is a positive, explicit, or formal statement; proclamation. One of the most important declarations that we can ever make is found in Romans 10:9-11.

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.  As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”

Speaking God’s word out loud not only helps me to focus on what I’m saying, but it has power. When I’m struggling I find strength in saying the name of Jesus because there is power in His name. I find comfort and courage when I speak His word out loud repeatedly when battling with temptations. There is a reason that the word says to declare with your mouth.

As I ready through a journal entry I was in awe of how much power was in the words that I received from God and the declaration that I made after hearing those words. They are true for you too, so I would like to share them with you in a way that you can personalize them. I pray that you will experience God’s love and power in your declaration of His truth.

Thank you Father for this week. It has been an emotional one and in looking back I can see You have encouraged me all week. You have blessed me with surprises, guided me, walked with me and let me cry out to You.

You’ve reminded me that You are in control and that You are aware of everything. You care for me and all I need to do is to trust You …………in everything!

You are my Lord and Savior! You are my healer and the lifter of my head. You are my provider and my guardian. You have a plan for me and step by step we will walk it out. You love me. You are for me. You adore me and I am Yours.

My prayer

Father, I thank you that You Are. I pray that others will come to know You in their own personal way and that they will find strength in declaring Your truth. Not only the truth about You Lord, but Your truth about them. Let them experience You in every area of their life and give them a voice to declare that You are their Lord and Savior. I pray that someday they too will see and declare what I also believe, that You are My God, My Everything. In Jesus’ name, amen.
