As Daughters of The King, we are called to live lives that would draw people to Christ. In the world, we live in that means we need to do the exact opposite of what is accepted and expected. This world is about self and putting your own interests above all else. It’s about making your views and opinions heard and pushing your own agendas. All of this is the complete opposite of what Christ taught His disciples and why living for Him will truly make your life stand out for Him.

When we live our lives in such a way as to reveal Christ to the world, it makes an eternal difference in the lives of others. People notice and become curious. They want to know what makes us live differently and why that lifestyle is so fulfulling, so peaceful in chaos, so content and so thankful.

When we live lives that forgive instead of seeking revenge and harboring offense, we demonstrate grace.

When we serve others, the least of these, we reflect God’s compassion and love.

When we stand up for justice, we show the value of human life.

When we guard our words to make sure no unwholesome talk comes from our mouths or when we restrain ourselves from involvement of unpure actions, we are showing that self-control is possible through the power of the Holy Spirit that dwells within us.

When we trust in God’s perfect will and timing, while facing trials, we show our faith in the hope and promises of God which are available for all who believe.

When we put obeying God as our top priority, we show the world what truly matters; a personal relationship with Christ.

When we live for Christ, people will see and know that there is a better way than what this world has to offer.
