Lord, give me the Words to Speak

• Psalm 19:14… May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Oh’ Lord, my Rock, and my Redeemer.

• Jeremiah 1:9… Then the Lord reached out His hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “I have put My words in your mouth.”

• Matthew 10:19-20… But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say,  for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

• Romans 8:26… In the same way, the Holy Spirit helps us where we are weak. We do not know how to pray or what we should pray for, but the Holy Spirit prays to God for us with sounds that cannot be put into words.

• Ephesians 4:15… Instead, we will speak the truth in love. So we will grow up in every way to become the body of Christ. Christ is the head of the body.

• 1 Peter 3:15… But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.

• Colossians 3:16… I will be steeped in the word, encourage others in it, and let thanksgiving drive me to perseverance.

• Ephesians 4:29… Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
