The Persecuted – Building on The Rock of God’s Promises

Blessed is __________ if she has been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for hers is the kingdom of heaven.  – Matthew 5: 10

Her enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.  ________ must resist him, standing firm in the faith, because she knows that her brothers and sisters throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called her to his eternal glory in Christ, after she has suffered a little while, will Himself restore __________ and make her strong, firm and steadfast.  In fact, __________, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.  But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.  All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.                    2 Timothy 3:12-16
