The Meek – Building on The Rock of God’s Promises

Blessed is __________ if she is meek, for she shall inherit the earth.  Matthew 5:5

 

____________ your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes.  Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.            1 Peter 3:3-4

 But in your heart _________ set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.           1 Peter 3:15

Therefore __________, as God’s chosen vessel, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.  Bearing with others and forgiving any grievance you have against anyone, even as Christ forgave you. – Colossians 3:12-13

 And what does the Lord require of you ___________? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. – Micah 6:8

 I urge you _____________to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.  Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. – Ephesians 4:1-3
