Live Boldly

It begins

I recently read “Chase The Lion” by Mark Batterson.  It was very challenging and I found myself wanting to get out of my comfort zone and experience new things.  For quite awhile I have had the idea of writing in the back of my mind.  It started before I wrote Brock’s Story and has remained ever since.

When we moved I had to give up the ladies bible study group that had been meeting for several years and I really miss those ladies.  The idea of a blog meant that we could still be connected and that was exciting.  The only problem was I had no idea how to set up a blog.

“Lion Chasers”, as Mark calls them, are people who go after things.  They boldly accept the challenge and dive in.  So when I felt I was to start a blog that meant it was time to take the plunge.  I started researching how to create a blog and it has been exciting, frustrating and rewarding.  It does feels great to learn something new.

The challenge continues now that the blog is set up.   God wants me to continue to  “Live Boldly” and be real.  That means being transparent and open about my life.  That feels like a magnifying glass has just been placed over my head.   One of my favorite quotes is, “If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.”   So I’m going to do my best and I pray that along the way I get to meet new people, have lots of God adventures and learn to Live Boldly!

My prayer

Micah 7:7 – But as for me, I will look to the Lord

I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me

Father, thank you for including me in your work.  What a privilege to be invited to spend time with you and have a front row seat to what you are doing in so many lives.  Give me boldness and at the same time humility.  I want to be fearless with you and have unconditional love and compassion for others.  I look forward to our adventures together Lord.  Open my eyes and heart.  Amen

Where does my help come from?

Joshua 1:9

“Be strong and courageous.  Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the

Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
