Tell of the Love

Then he said, “Go into the world. Go everywhere and announce the Message of God’s good news to one and all.” – Mark 16:15 MSG

At first the Great Commission may seem like a huge task but the truth is, it’s an incredible privilege. People hesitate obeying God’s command because they feel that they are not good with words or they don’t know the bible well enough. While both are helpful, the best way to share the Good News is to tell of the love of God that you have experienced. God has already given you the words to share – your redemption story.

You know all the details. You’ve felt the weight of your sins removed. You’ve experienced the joy of salvation. You have your own story, a testimony of God’s loving mercy and grace in your life. Tell of the love that you’ve received.

When they hear the passion in your voice and see the change in your life there will be no doubt that something incredibly wonderful has taken place and that is Jesus. He has moved in and taken up residency. You have become a living breathing witness of the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Wherever He leads you, be it next door, across town or across the world, He has promised to be with you always. So step out in obedience, with a thankful heart, and tell of the love of God that forever changed your life.
