Steadfast
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:58
To be steadfast and unmovable is to be spiritually grounded, to be firm and unwavering in your faith. That means being thoroughly convinced of what you believe and not allowing yourself to become moved when you face trials and tribulations.
Trusting God with your life has set it on solid ground. It has given you a firm foundation that won’t be moved and knowing His Word will give you the confidence to face the trials of life, empowered by the One who spoke life into existence.
The Bible counsels you to be prepared to give the reason for the hope you have, with gentleness and respect. That boldness of sharing your faith is the redemptive work of Christ transforming you into the Daughter of The King, His messenger. A bearer of the Good News.
His Holy Spirit working in you gives you the courage and strength to endure knowing that His promises will always come to pass and that you can fully trust in His perfect timing and will.
Fix your eyes on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of your faith, and run with perseverance the race marked out for you. He goes before you and will be with you. He is your refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. And when you have stood the test, you will receive the Crown of Life that God has promised to those who love Him.
