Praying – Building on The Rock of God’s Word
“When ________ prays, she must not be like the hypocrites, for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, so that they may be seen by men. Most certainly, I tell you, they have received their reward. But ____________, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. In praying, don’t use vain repetitions as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their many words. For your Father knows what you need, before you ask Him. – Matthew 6:5-8
This is the confidence which ___________ has toward Him, that, if she asks anything according to His will, He listens to her. And if she knows that He listens to her, whatever she asks, she knows she will receive from Him – 1 John 5:14-15
