Prayer – Fills My Cup

Continuing with the theme of Fill My Cup one of things that can aid in the filling is prayer. It is our life line to God in this crazy world. In prayer we can pour out our hearts to God and be known by Him.

We’ve all had those moments that we cannot find the right words to explain what we are feeling or experiencing and even if we could, would the person we are telling be able to understand?

God can.

Not only does He completely understand, but His Holy Spirit will also give us the words when we don’t know what to pray. Talking to God through prayer is the most understood we will ever be.

As we pray our hearts open up to receive His response which is usually a peace that surpasses understanding. You may not receive an instant answer to your request or even the answer you want. But just spending time with God in prayer will renew our courage, trust and peace.

My Prayer

Father, thank you for creating a way to communicate with you anywhere and anytime. You are the genius creator and You want to hear from Your creation. Thank you for giving me words when I have none and for always reassuring me with Your peace. I Love You Lord. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Where does my help come from?

Romans 8:26

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes with groans that words cannot express.

Philippians 4:7

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
