John 8:12

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Lord Jesus thank you for being the light that directs my path. For giving me freedom from the darkness and showing me new life in You. You opened my eyes to see You Lord and I pray that I will follow the path You have given me. That I will step out in faith and go wherever You lead. And when that path goes through the valley of the shadow of death, I will not fear.

Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
