Orchestrated by God

The Lord All-Powerful made this promise: “This will happen exactly as I meant for it to happen. It will happen just the way I planned.” – Isaiah 14:24

I want to share a story of God’s incredible orchestration that started with a friend request on Facebook. A few months ago I received a friend request from a woman that I didn’t know. I looked through her profile, saw the mutual friends that we had and accepted the request. When I started making a list of people to send the new Royal Records book to, I felt that I was to send her a copy, so I did.

We talked through text one day and she told me that she works with Prison Fellowship and that she would be hosting a HOPE event to kick off the new academy that would be starting at the Women’s Correctional facility in my hometown. She has an amazing story and testimony about her own time as an inmate, and praise God, she is a new creation in Him.

The day before the event she contacted me and asked if I knew of anyone who would be able to sing worship and Christmas songs on short notice. The artist that was scheduled to perform had cancelled flights and could not be rescheduled in time to make it to the event.

I thought of a dear friend who has organized many worship in the park events and asked if she had any suggestions. Within a few minutes she had contacted a local church worship leader who was very excited to help.

But God was not finished with this incredible intervention. The woman that volunteered to lead the inmates in worship and holiday songs already has security clearance at the prison because she works there! God perfectly cleared away every obstacle and the woman at the prison will be ministered tonight in a beautiful way. Thank you Lord!
