Live Boldly

More convincing

My Sunshine Prophesy was amazing and should have been enough for me to say, “Yes Lord!  I’ll move with a joyful heart.”  But that wasn’t the case.  Instead I was stunned by God’s reply and it took a bit of time to digest all that He gave me.

I went home and began to talk with Tracy about looking at the property and I was trying to explain what I was thinking and feeling, but it didn’t come out that way.  He could not understand why I was resistant to a new home, most women would love to have a new home.  He was very frustrated with me and I went outside to spend some time on the deck and pray some more.

As I sat outside crying and praying.   I felt like selling the house was like telling God it’s not good enough.  The home I was living in was more than I ever dreamed I would have and I felt like I was disappointing God by going after something else.   Then more words of my Sunshine Prophesy came to mind.  “He will enfold you with love.”  I cried harder, I didn’t deserve His love but there He was pouring it out on me.

I went to church and prayed more.  I wanted to know without a doubt that this is what God wanted me to do.  “Inquire of the Lord,” that’s what my word said and as I prayed during the worship service a song by Lauren Daigle said, “letting go of everything single dream.”  I knew immediately that those words were for me.  Let it go, it’s okay.   “I will provide beyond your wildest dreams.”

From that moment on I knew that we were to move and I was not going to resist any longer.  God had a plan and He was going to be with me.   He was asking me to “Walk Boldly” with Him.

” Yes, Lord, I’ll go.”

My prayer

Micah 7:7 – But as for me, I will look to the Lord

 I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me

Father, I thank you that you are so patient with me and my doubts.  You always encourage me and love me beyond what I can even comprehend.  Please help me to go!  Go wherever you lead and to trust you fully.  I know that you are faithful and your plans for me are good.  Amen.

Where does my help come from?

Proverbs 3:5-6

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight”
