Meet The Neighbors
The other day I was in my office working with the window open when I heard a loud crash. I hurried outside to see what had happened and saw that my neighbor’s car had been hit by a passing car. They were not home at the time.
The driver was getting out of her car to assess the damage and was quite shaken. Her bumper was torn completely off and the entire side of her car damaged. The parked car had some large dents as well.
Thankfully she was alright and she began making phone calls to the police, her insurance company and husband. Apparently while she was driving she had an allergy attack and was sneezing repeatedly when she hit the parked car.
While she was calling I met one of my other neighbors and we had the opportunity to get to know each other for the first time. Later that day when the neighbor, whose car was hit, returned home from work, I had the opportunity to officially meet him as well.
This was definitely a different kind of Divine Encounter, but since that day there has been a new neighborly feeling between all of us. The waves in the drive ways are now more personal because we know each others names and we have a comradery knowing that we are looking out for each other.
Thank you Lord that the driver was not injured and thank you for the beginning of new relationships.
