Live Boldly

Live in it

As I was looking back over the posts during the Lenten season and through Easter, I’m in awe of that time with God. I felt such passion and purpose and was taught so much in the study times. Then the week after was a time of comfort and peace and He walked me through my own times of remembering. I kind of feel sad now that it’s over. Where do I go from here?

It’s like hiking to the top of a mountain and having time to look out across them at the most impressive and scenic views. Now it’s time to move on and begin the next part of the journey even if it is a walk towards a valley.

I had heard the words “Live in it,” several weeks ago in church and they have been written on a note that hangs around on my desk. Today they needed to be moved to the blog.

On the way back down the mountain I will still have the memories of the journey up and the awe at reaching the summit. I get to live in those memories as I walk the next trail.

Live in the grace that was given by God, knowing that I’ve have been forgiven.

Live in the love of God that reminds me that I am His and He is mine.

Live in the peace of God because I know that He is in control and His plans for me are good.

Live in the correction of God because He is my Father and He leads me with wisdom and love.

Live in the hope of God because He has promised so much and He is always faithful.

Live in relationship with God because He is my best friend, My Savior, My Lord and My Everything.

As I continue on the journey there will be rocks in the path, times of exhaustion, times of walking the edge and feeling alone. But as I live in the memories and teachings of the mountaintop, I know that He will bring me through and be with me.

My prayer

Father, thank you for a time of renewing and strengthening. Our journey together continues and it’s time to live in the reminders and correction that You have given me. Thank you for new trails and opportunities to put into practice the lessons You’ve taught and to know that You are with me, leading the way. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Where does my help come from?

1 John 3:24

“Those who obey His commands live in Him, and He in them. And this is how we know that He lives in us; We know it by the Spirit He gave us.”
