Lessons In the Waiting: In the uncertainty, You are there
When you think of Spring 2020 words like pandemic, quarantine, Covid 19 and toilet paper hoarding might come to mind. Yet through all the chaos and uncertainty there are many lessons to be learned in the waiting. This time is a gift from our loving God.

Everyday the media reminds us of the ever changing world events and stirs up emotions about what the future holds. Speculation leads to panic and unrest. Often I’ve tried to figure out what the outcome will be in the months ahead, but having never been through this type of situation before, my projections are just my best guess.
There is an uncertainty about what lies ahead and if I listen to the media to much, I find myself in a state of panic and desperation. In this state of mind I try to figure out what needs to be done on my own which only adds to the panic and stress.
The truth is that the future is uncertain, but we know the One who holds the future.
Instead of listening to the media this morning I chose to listen to God. His message was a reminder from my Sunshine Prophesy.
Do not be afraid of the places that I will take you, for I AM a mighty God. My ways are not your ways, and My thoughts are not your thoughts.
Walk boldly into the future, for I hold the future and I AM the future. Fear not what will happen, for I will provide beyond your wildest dreams.
I have called you to a ministry beyond anything that you can conceive, and even as you begin to conceive, your thoughts cannot comprehend what I have called you to do, so do not try to think ahead of Me, but only walk in My ways and My purposes, and I will reveal My plans step by step. But you need not be afraid. You can walk confidently, for I the Lord your God have enfolded you with love.
Doesn’t the truth from God sound so much better than our human predictions? We don’t know the future, but He does and He is already there preparing the way for us.
My Prayer
Father I thank You for Your words of truth and the peace that they bring to my soul. I needed that reminder today that You hold my future and You are already there. Thank you for calming the uncertainties by providing beyond my wildest dreams, the promise of Your presence. I love you Lord. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Where does my help come from?
Isaiah 41:13
For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
