Jesus Is The Truth

Now more than ever we want to know the truth. We are tired of the phony, misleading, fake and outright lies that we are constantly fed by this world. We want something that is genuine, reliable and trustworthy.

Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth.”

Centuries ago Pilate asked Jesus, “What is truth?” The answer was standing before him – Jesus is truth. Just as Pilate’s view was focused only on his present circumstances, we too can be blinded by the troubles we face and be completely unaware of the truth that is right in front of us. Thankfully we have God’s word, the Bible, which reveals to everyone who is willing to see with their eyes and hear with their ears, God’s revelation of truth.

The Truth tells us that He will never leave us nor forsake us which means that although it may seem we face our giants alone, Jesus is right beside us fighting our battles.

The Truth tells us that in this world we will have troubles but to take heart because He has overcome the world and He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. One day He will wipe away every tear.

The Truth tells us that He loves us with an everlasting love and because of that love He endured the cross and by His stripes we are seat free. Then He rose from the grave, conquering sin and death and is preparing a place for us. He is making all things new.

When we read and properly apply God’s word we can see the real truth of our circumstances from God’s perspective and find the encouragement, wisdom and hope that come with trusting the One who is Truth.
