In The Works

Over the last several months I have been working on a book that will be a continuation of the Royal Records of the Daughter of the King. This book addresses the Paths We Take and how our daily walk reflects what and who we believe in.

Most importantly we need to know Jesus. He told us in His word that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. What does that all mean? We will learn that on the paths of life that we walk. Every situation we encounter will be an opportunity to discover the truths about Jesus and His presence in our lives. How we respond will demonstrate the Godly character that is being developed within us.

Developing Godly character won’t happen overnight, but each day we can build on the day before and before we know it our lives will be producing fruit that will glorify God. Part of this process is recognizing and believing that God will provide our Daily Bread. When Jesus taught His disciples to pray He said, “Give us this day our daily bread.” That means that every day our needs, what God knows we truly need, will be met when we ask for them in faith.

Our Daily Bread is more than just food, it’s also the Fruit of the Spirit. He gives us the love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control that we need for everything we have to do. Instead of calling it my to do list which makes it task oriented, I’m learning to see it as my Daily Bread which reminds me that God knows about everything on my list and He has already provided all that will be needed to accomplish each item. It also reminds me that even though at times it might feel overwhelming, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

When I feel anxious, He gives me peace. When I feel frustrated, He gives me patience. When I feel sad, He gives me joy. When I feel alone, He gives me love. It’s not just material things that He provides on a daily basis, He provides the right heart and mindset to handle every task in ways that show His Holy Spirit living in me.

Royal Records of the Daughter of The King – Paths That We Take is a daily devotional-journal that will help you document your journey with Jesus. The Daily Bread pages will help remind you of His daily provision, our daily need for grace, our daily need to forgive others, our daily blessings and the truth of His word in our lives.

We are all a work in progress, but God is faithful and we can be confident of this, that He who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
