I want this to be true

One of the incredible blessings about reading the personalized bible is that it calls you out. The written Word comes alive and it helps me to take hold of the promises and instruction found within. But it goes even deeper when verses like today’s, makes you ask if that is a true statement of yourself.

Launa has trusted in the Lord without wavering. I want that to be true! I know that it currently isn’t.

The beauty is that in just a few verses later it reads, “For Your steadfast love is before her eyes.” God is ever leading us to more of Him. In the testing we become more and more sure of His provision, presence and love which develops unwavering faith in Him.

Every day we are given opportunities to exercise that kind of faith and experience the sweet smell of victory when the day is through, as we, with lifted hands, praise God for another day. It is possible to have an unwavering faith, just look at the story of the three Hebrews that were thrown into the firey furnace. No wavering, just walking with Jesus in the flames.

Lord, let it be true of me!
