I Am The Way, The Truth & The Life

As I was walking today I was imagining that Jesus was right there with me. We talked about things that were on my mind and people that I needed His help understanding.

He kindly helped me see the truth behind different feelings that I was experiencing and reminded me that He is always available and that throughout this life the path we get to walk is a gift from Him.

As the Way, Jesus is our path to the Father. He provides clear direction to God. As the Truth, He is the reality of all God’s promises. He provides certainty to people whose lives seem confused and unstable. As the Life, He joins His divine life to ours, both now and eternally. Jesus offers full and complete satisfaction to those who follow Him. He is the truth, the only living way to the Father.

Spending time walking with Him today helped me to remember the bigger picture. It’s about loving Him and loving others. It’s very easy to get caught up in my own emotions and circumstances. When I do, I leave the path, the way I should go.

Refocusing on Him and His truth, helps me to get back in step with how He knows life can be. The circumstances didn’t change but my heart did and knowing that I was back on His path made everything work out perfectly.

Lord, thank you for spending time with me today. Thank you for helping me refocus and return to the path You have set me on. I love spending time with You and I’m so grateful for the way that You can help me see clearer and remember that You are always there. Thank you Lord, In Jesus’ name, amen.
