I Am That Woman

When the time came for Hannah to take Samuel to the house of the Lord to live she brought him to Eli and said, “Pardon me, my lord. As surely as you live, I am the woman who stood here beside you praying to the Lord.  I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him.  So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.” And they worshiped the Lord there.”

Hannah was sharing her testimony with Eli as she presented him with her gift from God, her son Samuel. In these few verses she shared what made her a Godly Woman of Influence, then and now.

She took her cares to the Lord and poured out her heart to Him. Then she willingly gave everything, even the answer to her prayers, back to God. Then she worshipped God with all her heart. She was that woman. That Godly Woman of Influence.

Everyday we have the opportunity to “be that woman,” in our prayer life, in our giving and in our worship. How many lives could we influence by the way we pray, give and worship? When you share your story, your testimony, with others you are showing them the miraculous ways that God works in the lives of those who fully surrender to Him.

Whoever you are, wherever you are, YOU are a woman of influence. And the question is, how will you use your influence?

Be Intentional about being that woman….that Godly Woman of Influence!

Father, thank you for Hannah’s example for us. Help us to be the Godly Women of Influence that You created us to be for our time and place. Open our mouths to pray, worship and share all that You have done in our lives and to freely give all for You. You are so worth it Lord. In Jesus’ name, amen.
