Hidden Within

With all this talk of beauty treatments and outward adornments I want to take a moment and talk about what is hidden within.

It’s very common for us to have a hard exterior when we meet new people, begin new adventures or find ourselves in different circumstances than we are used to. But hidden within every believer is our true identity and that is…… Christ in us!

In our story of Esther we read that her uncle Mordecai had instructed her not to reveal her nationality and family background. At the proper time it would be revealed and at that time it would have the desired effect.

In the Bible the apostle Paul explained that the mystery of Christ in us, had been hidden until the times of the Gentiles and then with the gift of the Holy Spirit, it was revealed. The ultimate goal is that when people see us they will see Jesus.

It is His Holy Spirit within us that will guide us to fulfill the destiny that God has prepared for us. Our true identity as Daughter’s of the King will be evident as we live out the life that God intended for us, while living in obedience to His Holy Spirit. And in His perfect and proper time all will be revealed and fall into place.

Father, I thank you that Your Holy Spirit lives in me. I pray that I will allow Your transformation in my life and that I will reflect You to others. Lord when they see me, I want them to see You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
