God’s Plan

Ephesians 1:4-5 NLT

Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.

Lydia’s story began long before her name was even mentioned. God was at work not only in her life, but the life of many people because of her and that’s one of the things that makes her story so hopeful and encouraging.

As we study Lydia this month we need to remember that God also has a beautiful and unique plan for each of our lives. A plan that was set in place before creation – with Godly purpose and intention.

You matter! Your life matters! Your story matters!

Be Intentional about living in obedience to God’s perfect plan.

Father, Your word always amazes me and wow’s my heart. To read and know that You chose us before the creation of the world to be Yours is truly humbling. You have a plan for us and our response will affect not only ourselves, but many others. Help us to willing, joyfully and obeiently submit to Your will remembering that Your plans for us are good. In Jesus’ name, amen.
