Godly Character

As we journey on the paths of our lives, we are given many opportunities to develop Godly character. Each day the Lord orchestrates activities, encounters, allows trials and provides ways out of temptations all of which will help refine us to become all that He created us to be.

When we choose to see these events as learning opportunities and divine encounters, we are better able to respond in ways that reveal the fruit that God’s Holy Spirit is producing in us. Galatians 5:22-23 tells us that the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. We are all capable of developing these Godly characteristics in our lives and the more we exercise them, the more they will increase.

Godly character begins with knowing who God is and then living each day in a relationship with Him as He refines us and makes us more like Jesus. It’s in the refining that our new character is revealed and our lives begin to reflect the Godly characteristics within. By our fruits the world will know that we are Daughters of The King!
