Equipped and Empowered

I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.   Philippians 4:13

God has graciously equipped you by creating you with spiritual gifts and natural God-given talents, each of which will be necessary in transforming you into all that He knows you will become.

As you lean on Him you are empowered, enabled, and equipped for supernatural success through His Holy Spirit that dwells within you.   This doesn’t mean that you’ll never face tough times, but it does mean you can experience victory over them.

Speaking God’s Word will give you the power to effectively resist adversity just as Jesus did when He was tempted.  As you speak God’s truth into any situation it gives you access to the same authority that Jesus possessed.

Knowing God’s Word helps you filter your feelings and thoughts through His truth, making you better able to take captive anything that is not of God.  It prompts you to make course corrections as needed by being a light to your path and encourages you with the love and promises of your faithful and ever-present Father.

All this equipping and empowerment were given to you with the intent of using them to serve God by serving others. Your individual talents were given with purpose. They are useful and needed to fulfill the calling that God has placed on your life.  

God has not called you to something that He has not already made possible. His plan is to do this with you. That is why the ultimate gift of Christ in you, has been given. 

It’s a journey of relationship with Jesus Christ where you have the privilege of walking hand in hand, side-by-side with your Lord and Savior, through the adventures of life knowing that in His power, He will bring you through anything and everything along the way.
