Destiny
Lord, I have chosen you alone as my inheritance. You are my prize, my pleasure, and my portion. I leave my destiny and its timing in your hands. -Psalm 16:5 TPT
Have you ever wondered what might be written about you in your obituary? What would be the defining moments of your life? What would be the achievements?
You and I have a God given destiny. Our lives have purpose and therefore meaning. The bible tells us that before we were even born, God gave us our destiny; that we would fulfill the plan of God who always accomplishes every purpose and plan in his heart.
For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. – Ephesians 2:10
The definition of destiny is something that is to happen or has happened to a particular person or thing; lot or fortune. Where you are right now, this time, this place is not an accident. It is precisely where God prepared and planned for you to be. Right here, right now is where you will fulfill your God given destiny.
The story of Esther brings to life a beautiful example of a woman fulfilling her God given destiny. Through the providence of God, which is His protective care, she was able to trust that His purpose for her life would be accomplished in His perfect timing.
Like Esther, we will need to willingly participate in the refining and character building processes that will be required to fulfil our destinies. That process begins with understanding who you truly are; The Daughter of The King.
You were created with great purpose and have been gifted and equipped with everything you will need to accomplish God’s plan for you. The first task is to believe that truth.
Believe that you are deeply loved by the Lord, your Father. Believe that He knows what is best and will always be with you. Believe what He says about you. Believe that He will finish the work He has begun in you and bring it to completion. Then walk with God as He writes the story of your life highlighting the defining moments and the cheering you on as you live a life that glorifies Him.
Be Intentional about fulfilling your destiny

Father, what an honor to know that You prepared a plan for my life before the creation of the world. You designed me with purpose and intention and I get to live out my destiny, each day with You by my side. Give me the courage to live for You Lord and to accomplish all that You desire.
