Boundries

You are all around me—in front of me and in back of me. You lay your hand on me.. – Psalm 139:5

How do you see boundries? Do you see them as walls to keep you in and restricted? Or do you see them as fences to keep you safe? Perspective is a powerful thing and will greatly affect the way you repond when boundries are set in place.

Throughout the Bible the Lord set boundries and every time He did it for the well being of His beloved children. Often those boundries were thought of as restrictions and were resented. But when looked at with the proper perspective they were seen with the love and protection that God intended.

That is the perspective that God wants me to see through this Royal Make Over. He wants me to see what I’m gaining, not what I’m losing. That’s the complete opposite of the worlds perspective on dieting. With God I’m gaining clarity, reliance on God, better health and freedom from the false God’s that held me captive for way too long.

As I begin to see God’s boundries as a hem of protection around me, I have started to live in the freedom that is provided within those boundries. I find myself truly grateful for His daily provision and the variety that He has created. I’m experiency joy at being filled in new and exciting ways by Him. I’m living in His peace knowing that He surrounds and protects me. Why would I ever want to stray from this?
