Blessed is she who believes
Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill what He has spoken to her. – Luke 1:45
This life is made bearable and meaningful because we have chosen to live it for God, seeking to build His kingdom with the gifts He’s given us, while we wait for the blessed hope – the glorious appearing of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Living life as an Ambassador of Christ, a Daughter of The King, is not an easy task, but it’s one that God has provided clear direction, hope and promises to those who choose to believe in Him and follow His leading.
Without faith it’s impossible to please God because we must believe that He exists, that He is faithful and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. The bible tells us that it’s impossible for God to lie, so we can stand on His Word, the anchor for our souls, and face with confidence the race set before us.
Jesus is the author and perfecter of our faith and He will in no way leave us nor forsake us. That means that with the Lord as our helper, we have nothing to fear.
By faith believers have subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, and out of weakness were made strong. How you might ask? Because they believed.
They counted Him faithful who had promised and pressed in when fears surfaced. When doubts were raised, they responded with, “But God said…!” They overcame and were blessed because they believed.
Those same promises, victories and rewards are still available for she who believes.
