Sunshine Prophesy
In 2017 my husband wanted me to make some big changes and by big I mean move. We had lived in our home for about 10 years and I was comfortable, to say the least. I fought this idea with everything I had and one day he asked me to look at a piece of property where we could build a new home. I stopped by after work and my mind could not picture what he was seeing, so in a defiant attitude, I drove down the street to a church and prayed that God would change his mind.
I drove home and not wanting to talk about moving just yet I stopped by the river and prayed. My sister has always been very bold in her prayers and I’ve admired that boldness, so I decided to try it. I prayed that God would show me what to do and take my selfish desires out of the picture.
After praying I was on my phone surfing the web and typed in, “Lord I need to hear from you now!” It felt strange being so bold, but I began scrolling through responses until I came across a prophecy that Pat Robertson shared for CBN in 1976. As soon as I read it I knew it was a message for me too especially when I made it personal.
Launa,
Do not be afraid of the places that I will take you, for I AM a mighty God. My ways are not your ways, and My thoughts are not your thoughts. But Launa, I have called you for this moment.
Walk boldly into the future, for I hold the future and I AM the future. Fear not what will happen, for I will provide beyond your wildest dreams. I have called you to a ministry beyond anything that you can conceive, and even as you begin to conceive, your thoughts cannot comprehend what I have called you to do, so do not try to think ahead of Me, but only walk in My ways and My purposes, and I will reveal My plans step by step. But you need not be afraid. You can walk confidently, for I the Lord your God have enfolded you with love.
Walk in holiness before Me now, for I have called you for a great and mighty task. Do not look back, and do not fear. Be strong and be courageous, and do it, saith the Lord your God.
Launa, inquire of the Lord and be willing to do whatever God tells you to do. The prophecy reminds you not to be afraid of the places God will take you. God wants you to know His hand and His heart is towards you. His hand speaks of His provision and His heart speaks of His great love for you.
He wants you to walk boldly into the future, He knows what is ahead and His thoughts for you are good.
Well, that was not what I was expecting, but it has become my “Sunshine Prophesy” and I have it framed and hanging on the wall of my prayer room. I’ve read it over and over, cried while reading it, praised God while reading it, and have it on my phone where it gave me boldness that I have never experienced before.
God was telling me to move and that He would be with me, not just physically, but in every way possible. Good thing, because I need Him in every way.
