A Shopping Encounter

Just before Christmas, I was debating whether to go shopping or postpone it for another day. As I thought about it, the idea of buying my husband some new jeans came to mind, and I felt that I was supposed to go that day to a specific store.

When I arrived at the store, I was greeted by my sweet friend Molly, whom I didn’t know worked there. It was such a nice surprise. We hugged each other, and we were blessed with a few moments to talk.

Earlier in the day, while working on my bible study, I was reminded of Divine Encounters and had written in my journal about the many times Molly had shared the most amazing experiences she had been a part of over the years. It made me want more of my own.

God knew she would be at the store at the exact time I walked in, and that encouraged me so much to see how God was already working. Molly then shared that she had been praying earlier for encouragement and that her prayers were answered when God brought me to the store, and we talked, hugged, and even cried a bit.

God works in the most amazing ways! I believe this is just the first of many more Divine Encounters.
