A Royal Make Over Requires Fruit

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23

This year’s Royal Records of The Daughter of The King focuses on developing the Godly characteristics of the Fruit of The Spirit. No surprise the Fruit of the Spirit is a key factor in the process of the Royal Make Over.

When you think about it, making the decision to change any behavior and bring it into alignment with the will of God, you are going to need His character and strength to accomplish the challenge and obtain the victory.

Love – you will need to learn to love yourself, who God created you to be and love others

Joy – you will learn to dwell in the joy of the Lord as you daily live in His presence

Peace – experience true peace in the midst of your temptations and storms

Patience – you will need to develop patience with the process, this will take time, but it will be worth it, You’re worth It!

Kindness – towards yourself and the way you see yourself in the mirror, the way you talk about yourself and others

Goodness – integrity, not comparing yourself to others nor judging them

Faithfulness – don’t give up, trust in God’s timing, will and way

Gentleness – stay humble, you are a work in progress, flawed but deeply loved by God

Self-Control – denying yourself daily, taking up your cross and following Him

As I look at all these incredible benefits that can be experienced when we choose to change for God, it makes me excited to get moving forward. Some of them are definitely going to be more challenging than others, but they all work together to refine us into becoming the Daughter’s of The King that we were created to be.
