My New Song

I waited patiently for the Lord;
    He turned to me and heard my cry.
 He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
    out of the mud and mire;
He set my feet on a rock
    and gave me a firm place to stand.
 He put a new song in my mouth,
    a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear the Lord
    and put their trust in him.

A Daughter’s Song

I am a Daughter of The King. I am loved, valued, and full of worth and beauty. I matter to You, Lord. You see me, and I am known by You. My greatest joy is to know You, Lord, to dwell in Your presence and see Your hand in my life. Use me, Lord, in any way You choose; let my life bring You praise, glory, and honor.

You are my treasure, my very great reward. You are my passion, my heart’s desire. You provide all my needs and at the same time, make my cup overflow. You turn my darkness into light, and You calm my storms by quieting my soul in their midst.

You surround me and You shelter me as You make a way through every trial of life. Your word; Your voice, sweetly guides me and reassures me as I trust in Your promises and experience Your faithfulness.

You are my champion, my defender, my courage, my strength, my hope, and my joy. You are my salvation and promise of eternity. You are my God, my Lord, my Savior, my King….You are my everything.

I am blessed to call You Father, for You have called me by name as Your own. I am Yours and You are mine! I am and forever will be, A Daughter of The King!
